Founder Joe Beatrice and the team at Barrell Craft Spirits have made an art out of seeking exceptional barrels and blending them into unique cask-strength expressions. While this usually involves whiskey, other spirits aren’t out of the question rum especially. This expression is a part of their Private Release Series, a project of small-scale blending that allows for extreme precision. J657 Rum is centered around Jamaican rum that makes up 65% of the final blend, the rest being Barbados & Guyana rum, as well as a Martinique rhum agricle.
