Description
The traditional, closely-guarded secret recipe is based on a blend of 13 herbs, plants, roots, and berries, some of which come from the slopes of Monte Braulio, a majestic mountain adjacent to the famous Stelvio pass. They are all-natural and include musk yarrow, wormwood, gentian, and juniper. First, the herbs are ground in a process that emulates the traditional pestle and mortar, separating the fibers. Then, the herbs are infused in alcohol at room temperature in large vats for several weeks, allowing the aromas to be released into the alcohol. Then, water is added, bringing the liquid to 100 proof. The herbs are removed, and sugar and water are added to the filtered liqueur. Finally, it is left to rest in Slavonian oak casks, letting the aromas and flavors marry, creating the balanced, complex, and aromatic profile of the liqueur. Braulio is bottled at 42 proof.Grab your bottle of this unique Italian liqueur today!
