Founded in 1936, the Willett Distillery is a private and family-owned operation with a rich history of producing quality whiskey. Old Bardstown 90 Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon was released in 2016 together with a Bottled in Bond Bourbon. It’s distilled at the Willett distillery from a mash bill of 72% corn, 13% rye, and 15% malted barley. Then, the whiskey spends at least 4 years in new charred American oak casks before being bottled at 90 proof. The whiskey features a classic bourbon taste profile with notes of caramel, oak, vanilla, and floral undertones.
