Founded in 1724 in Charente by the eponymous Rmy Martin, this legendary cognac house has strong ties to the land and its winemakers. Martin himself was a descendent of Charente winemakers, the region known for some of the richest and most fertile crus of Grande and Petite Champagne. Rmy Martin 1738 Accord Royal takes its name from the royal approval bestowed upon the founder by King Louis XV. It’s a blend of particularly oaky and smooth eaux-de-vie. The barrels were softly toasted over a long period of time, making for a unique expression with gentle notes of toasted bread, vanilla, and brioche.
