Rmy Martin is a legendary cognac house that was founded in 1724. The house and its founder Rmy Martin both have strong ties to the land and its winemakers. Martin himself was a descendent of Charente winemakers, the region known for some of the richest and most fertile crus of Grande and Petite Champagne. Launched in 2010 and named after “eau-de-vie”, Rmy Martin V looks to the future. It marks the first time that the cognac house has released a clear spirit. Geared towards mixology, V is double-distilled in copper pots from grapes from the Cognac region. Instead of being matured in oak casks, the spirit is filtered using a proprietary cold filtration process, resulting in a crystal clear expression with hints of pears, oranges, bread, honey, and mint.
