The Lost Explorer Mezcal Tobal is a small batch, sustainably produced mezcal made from 100% Tobal agave. This agave variety is also known as the Explorer Agave, since its smaller than the other agave and grown in shaded canyons at high altitudes. Tobal needs 10 years to reach maturity before harvesting can even begin. This is a very earthy expression with notes of tobacco, cocoa, vanilla and leather with the perfect balance between woody aromas and umami taste.
