Jody Williams and Rita Sodi have been called “one of the great partnerships in the New York restaurant scene” by The New York Times. The pair co-own and co-chef Via Carota, a rustic Italian restaurant (or “trattoria”, as they like to call it) located in West Village, New York City. Via Carota White Negroni was a challenge to make, with the team going through more than 80 recipes with the help of Forthave Spirits. Together, they designed the perfect custom blend of aperitivos to pair with the dry gin and a vermouth blend. The resulting 41.4-proof bottled cocktail is playful and herbaceous with a floral nose, white peppercorn, citrus, and a pleasantly bitter finish with gentian root.
