Woodford Reserve Sonoma-Cutrer Pinot Noir Finish represents the ninth expression in the Masters Collection series. This years release is uniquely crafted by taking Woodford Reserve bourbon which is triple distilled through traditional, copper-pot stills before being aged for approximately seven years in new American oak barrels and transferring that near-finished product to ex-Pinot Noir barrels from the Sonoma Cutler Winery in California for an additional 10 months.This extended finishing process gives Woodford Reserve Sonoma-Cutrer Pinot Noir Finish a bright aroma of cherry and blackberries, as well as some core notes of cinnamon and oak. The palate is filled with marzipan and more spices, particularly clove, as well as a hint of butterscotch.
