Description
Corte Vetusto Mezcal Tobala is crafted with mature tobala agaves that cook for 3 to 5 days in a rock-lined pit. They are then crushed using a horse-drawn tahona mill and transferred into open-air wooden vats for their 1 to 2 weeks of natural fermentation. The juice is then distilled twice: first in a 270L copper pot still, then in a 100L clay pot still. It is distilled to 84.8 proof, resulting in an elegant fruity and tropical profile with a touch of smoke and spice. The expression has won several awards, including a Double Gold medal at the International Spirits Challenge in 2020 and a Gold Medal (95 points) at the 2020 edition of the International Wine and Spirits Competition.Get your bottle today!
