This elegant whiskey is a Westward Original, made from locally malted barley and distilled twice in custom low-reflux pot stills, that was aged for additional two years in French Oak wine casks from a handful of award-winning producers in the region. Showcasing the Westwards philosophy of the aging process adding to the flavor of the whisky, but never overpowering it, this is a rich and bold single malt whiskey that has been enhanced by the sweet notes of the Pinot Noir. With bold notes of figs, raisins, and apricot, and a decadent finish of herbaceous and dark chocolate, this is a rich and very complex whiskey.
